Join us for an insightful examination of the specialized role interpreters play in supporting individuals who have endured significant emotional distress or profound trauma.  We will explore the compassionate realm of trauma-informed interpretation in the context of aiding Victims of Trafficking, Torture, and other Serious Crimes (VTTC). This session looks at the unique challenges faced by interpreters when working with VTTC survivors, emphasizing the importance of a trauma-informed approach. Learn how interpreters navigate the emotional intricacies of traumatic narratives, ensuring that survivors' voices are heard with sensitivity and respect.

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided to all individuals who attend the full duration of the workshop.
