Summary: Summary: This qualitative research report, completed as part as part of our services to the Illinois Department of Human Services Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (IDHS-TANF) program, gathers and synthesizes findings from employment and supportive service providers and DuPage County residents facing significant barriers to employment. Findings are integrated with recent data and best practice literature. We further explore solution to address complex barriers to employment.
Safe, Accessible and Affordable Housing in DuPage County: Qualitative Community Engagement Findings, Part I

Summary: This qualitative research report completed as a consultation of the DuPage County Board Ad-Hoc Committee on Housing Solutions with Grounded Solutions Network, gathers and synthesizes findings from housing and human service providers regarding experiences of DuPage County’s most housing distressed residents in accessing and maintaining safe, accessible affordable housing. We also explore barriers faced and present a comprehensive range of potential solutions to increase access to safe, accessible affordable housing.

We also explore barriers they experience in advancing to affordable housing and living wage income as well as potential solutions to increase access to safe, accessible affordable housing.
