About
This is an accelerated curriculum, focusing on the medical aspect of interpretation and is geared towards individuals currently working in the medical field or have previous experience. Upon successful completion of the full training program (40 hours in the classroom and 20 hours practicum as an extern), students earn their "Certificate of Completion" and are eligible to work as a professional medical interpreter. Please note that this class does not cover other areas such as educational, human services or legal interpretation and the certificate will indicate "Medical Interpreter".
