Impact of Illinois Budget Cuts in DuPage
The proposed Illinois budget leaves critical health and human services programs with only 50% of the funding they need to maintain existing programs for State Fiscal Year 2010, which begins July 1st. The budget cuts, set to take affect on July 1st, will seriously impact children, the elderly, the disabled, the homeless, survivors of violence, the hungry, and many other people in need.
